The contrast could not have been more illuminating. Moments after watching Allen Iverson's 30-foot heave swish through to beat Germany, ESPN went directly to something called (I think) the And 1 Challenge. The name of the show is unimportant. What happened on the show drove home a painful point: What is happening to basketball in the US? All we saw for 30 minutes was Showboating 101.
